Please pray for Torben Søndergaard, the Danish pastor who is still in American jail for no good reason.
He fled to the US due to being harassed by Danish authorities and for accumulating opponents even among Christians who have started false rumors about him. Had Torben been lukewarm this of course would not have happened, but Torben is an active Christian preacher of the gospel (including the need for repentance) who believes that the gifts of the holy Spirit are still valid today. This fact has been used against him by his opponents to quench his fire, and they hate to see that loads of people have turned to Jesus Christ due to his teachings, not only in Denmark but all over the world. Torben’s preaching and popularity was deemed so dangerous that Danish media even made a hit piece against him. Denmark is sadly no longer a country where you have freedom of religion or even freedom of speech, unless of course your opinions line up with the establishment’s views and are not controversial.

Papa Ivan XXIII. je u svibnju 1959. udijelio apostolski blagoslov onima koji rade na širenju, štovanja i ljubavi prema Presvetoj Djevici Mariji po jednostavnoj pobožnosti Triju Zdravo Marija. Papa Pavao VI. je 29. ožujka 1959. udijelio apostolski blagoslov i ohrabrio one koji potiču apostolat Triju Zdravo Marija na slavu naše Nebeske Majke za duhovno dobro duša.

Moses turned and came down the mountain with the two tablets of the commandments in his hands, tablets that were written on both sides, front and back; tablets that were made by God, having inscriptions on them that were engraved by God himself. And you can (if you cared to) look up videos showing Torben lying and contradicting himself, such as when he lied about never doing “exorcisms” on children.

Instead of trying to find dirt on fellow Christians by going to their accusers, another option is to see how they defend themselves straight from their own source.

Torben blatantly uses hypnotic techniques, many videos expose this fact. He’s seen doing the “leg lengthening” parlor trick – an illusionist by the name of Darren Brown talked about this same trick and called it “the mark of a charlatan”. Torben asserts all his critics are slandering him but it’s only slander if it’s untrue. He’s being “heavily persecuted” in “jail” yet apparently he has the time to file lawsuits for slander? Really?
Anyone thinking they’ve experienced miracles under TLR have simply been effected by hypnosis and the power of suggestion. Torben’s lied about doing “exorcisms” on children – he’s openly denied it yet it’s all on video so why would he lie about it? Another lie is the reason for his detention in Florida; he’s been held in a detention facility (not a jail) because he overstayed his visa and kept appealing. He would’ve been out last year if he didn’t keep appealing.
Torben fled Denmark because the Danish documentary “Guds bedste børn” exposed him for what he was and so made it impossible for him to openly practice his deception there anymore.

So it looks like Mr Darren Brown is the authority and someone we can safely trust? Says who? Is the existence of false money always evidence that money is false?
It also looks like you sit down by the feet of Torben’s enemy (those who have made this “documentary” about him) and trust what they say. Is this the way you yourself would like to be judged? Through the description of your enemy?
It looks like you would blame Jesus Christ for using hypnosis if he was alive today.
Why in the world would Torben not have time to be persecuted in jail at the same time as his lawyers file lawsuits?
Torben has in videos and texts explained the false ordeal about the suggested visa overstay, but it looks like you haven’t read it. It seems like it’s enough for you to just listen to those who accuse him of dark things.

Darren Brown has been a practicing illusionist/mentalist for 30+ years so I’d imagine he knows something on the subject. To be clear, Darren’s never said anything about Torben, I brought up the “leg trick” because Darren’s showed that this is a blatant trick used by charlatans and Torben has used this exact same trick on others while labeling it “miracles”. You can however believe what you want.
I have listened to Torben’s side, all he has is his own word. Where in the documentary was Torben lied about? If it is all proven lies and slander then why did Torben flee Denmark instead of standing up and fighting the “false accusations”? Why not stay and stand up for the truth instead? Ask yourself why was Torben’s “truth” was not enough? He can sue nobodies on the internet for “slander” but couldn’t do that to the people who made the documentary on him? Why? If what the documentary revealed about Torben was all lies he could’ve taken it to court but instead he chose to run away and abandon the followers he had there, why?

I don’t associate Jesus Christ with hypnosis, no. Torben has clearly used hypnotic techniques, a former hypnotist has made a video showing this fact. Even looking at videos of hypnotists practicing their craft you can clearly see the direct similarities with what Torben does. If you looked it up (did your due diligence) you’d understand what I’m talking about. If you don’t want to look it up and inform yourself then so be it.

Pharisees and scribes are also wise people, but they shouldn’t necessarily be trusted despite their wisdom. The Bible on the other hand can be fully trusted, and in this book we learn that we shouldn’t judge people wrongfully. We just have to look at ourselves, because none of us would like to be judged through the descriptions of our enemies. Also:
Proverbs:18:13 He that answereth a matter before he heareth it, it is folly and shame unto him.
No, Torben had not “clearly” shown to be using hypnosis. Again, if you saw Jesus Christ healing someone you might get the same idea just by a superficial glance. Please use another method before you judge someone and the work of the Holy Spirit. Look at the fruit, as Jesus said we should. People are being converted, and started a new life with Christ.
You clearly show that you have not studied Torben’s side or else you would know what he said about the overstayed visa and you would know why it would not be wise for him to remain in Denmark knowing that his own children might be taken away from him. Due to slander and lies spread by his enemies.
I should not promote slander about a man of Christ here on my blog, so thanks for your input. No more posts please.
